Male body hair and growth
When going through puberty both the male and female bodies go through many changes. One of the many changes
experienced is an increase in the amount of body hair, which is particularly evident in males. Male body hair and growth are inextricably linked.
Throughout a lifetime a male will certainly notice hair growth and hair loss in a number of places on their body. They may notice that they start
growing hair in weird places as they progress well into their adulthood and start losing hair in places where they would commonly expect to have
hair.
The most rapid period of hair growth occurs during the pubescent stages of a male's lifetime. The body goes through many changes with the onset
of testosterone production. Accompanying the broadening of shoulders and the deepening of the voice, hair begins growing in places where there
was no hair before like the face, legs, pubic region, chest and perhaps even the back. Though it may be sparse at first, as we get older the hair
becomes more dense and abundant. Accompanying this hair growth is a consciousness of the fact that it must be maintained and many men begin to
shave their face and find methods of managing body hair.
Frequently body hair can be an embarrassing and unsightly if it is located in uncommon locations and as such many men search for solutions to
this problem and ways to eliminate this hair from sight. Waxing has becoming an increasingly popular method of removing unattractive body hair
and while it may be a great way to remove body hair for a brief period it is just that, brief and semi-permanent. For those who would rather not
go through the rigors of removing body hair every time is grows back, there are other methods of body hair removal such as electrolysis and laser
hair removal.
